Concordia Auto Mart owners, Charlie and Elaine Bowers, received the Honor of "Business Person of the Year" for 2003, soon after the completion of their new Sales Center on the corner of 6th and Lincoln (US-81) in Concordia.

I have to think that first time visitors driving the route 81 corridor through Concordia are very favorably impressed. What a change! Gone are the battered old houses, dingy storage buildings, and cluttered vacant lots. 
Concordia is fortunate to have business people like Elaine and Charlie Bowers to lift our image and set high standards for our future. Success fosters success, more good things will follow.
Not many of us have the vision or entrepreneurial spirit to complete a challenge like Elaine and Charlie have done. They have committed substantial capital as well as "sweat equity" to this project.
